Raphael Iacocca

Raphael Iacocca (B. 1982 Brisbane AUSTRALIA) earned his BA Illustration major at Melbourne Polytechnic and became a cartoonist. His influences include Johnny Ryan, Robert Crumb, Tony Millionaire, and George Herriman. Raphael Iacocca is the author of 6 novellas and 3 graphic novels. His latest 100 page comic book is due for release in Europe, UK, & USA mid 2025, published by The Mansion Press - FRANCE.



Raphael was awarded the QLD Minister's Award for Excellence in Art over 2 consecutive years, has passed his Australian Grade 4 Trombone Comprehensive exam, worked on the judging panel of the Bondi Screenplay Competition (2022-2023), and had short stories, comics and artwork featured in periodicals like Yuck! Number 7, Torpedo The Bullet, and the American quarterly Tiki Magazine USA.



He wrote and illustrated his novellas, comics, and paintings while moving around Australia, working in factories, bars, delivering flowers, hammering tent pegs for Lennon Bros Circus, delivering mail for the postal service, acting as a movie extra, repairing furniture, the list is long.
