Party Dude
Airline accountant Mr. D.'s gambling is out of control when he boards a flight to buy a miracle cure from mysterious billionaire, Doctor Rochelle. This bespoke rehab will involve a stay at Dr. Rochelle's mansion enjoying French cuisine and pre-arranged Party Entertainment Services. Airborne with his life savings, he discovers his half-baked suggestion to install slot machines on company planes was taken seriously, finding one chiming at the back of the cabin. His nightmare intensifies when the pilots announce they've lost the address to the doctor's airstrip and can't land.
Committed to abstinence, D. buys time coercing other passengers into playing the machine, while a bronze man in tights, Mr. Party Dude, enquires after Doctor Rochelle's airstrip coordinates via telephone calls. Stranded, D. plans his days to be business as usual, keeping the flight on budget, weighing snack sales against deductions and counting poker machine takings. But the plan falls apart when he runs out of jumbo cashews, loses thousands of napkins out a broken cargo door, and his bankrupt slot customers begin taking their own lives. Worse still, a price disagreement between Party and Rochelle over Party Dude Services he's been contracted under is stretching for months. The doctor's concealing her address to leverage a cheaper deal, while backstairs corpse disposal becomes the fire consuming a micro-community inside the fuselage. Now, running low on passengers to feed to the slot machine, Mr. D. struggles to avoid his fate while the blips and beeps grow hungrier for a player.
Can D. convince the stubborn Party Dude to accept the doctor's terms and land before losing everything he has to his own casino creation?
